·         He was featured twice in the Forbes India Rich List. Forbes is a globally-read business magazine

·         He had opened a business centre at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in order to offer sub-leasing facilities. His project ‘Sunteck Centrako’ attracted reputed hotels, high-profile multinational companies and technology-related companies

·         Between 2000 and 2004, his company acquired ‘Sunteck Magenta’, ‘Sunteck Amenity’ and ‘Sunteck Certainty’ to offer subleasing facilities

·         In 2006, Mr. Kamal Khetan won a government tender for a luxury residential project at the Bandra Kurla Complex

·         ‘Signature Island’ happens to be his showpiece project. It is a high-rise residential apartment with luxury units that got sold for $6 million each

·         He established a strong partnership with pharma tycoon Ajay Piramal in 2007 in Piramal Sunteck, which was a subsidiary of his flagship

·         Mr. Kamal Khetan’s Mumbai-based real estate development company has a development portfolio of around 25 million square feet spread across 24 projects (at various stages of development). This portfolio also consists of 4 rented assets

·         Within a span of four years, Sunteck Realty completed six projects with developed area of approximately 2 million square feet. This comprised of commercial as well as residential developments

·         Reportedly, Sunteck Realty Ltd is expecting sales revenue of approximately 1000 Crore INR in the coming two and a half years through the launch of four new projects in Mumbai.
